Ever Since I Was Five Or Six, I Have Had A Passion For Getting Ready. Self Care, Beauty, All Of It. It Stemmed From Watching All My Favorite Women In The Family Growing Up. My Mom, My Aunts, My Grandma. Getting Ready, Dressing Up, Doing Their Hair, Little Spa Days, All Of It. I Just Loved The Beauty Behind It, The Energy Of It All. I Was So Excited For The Day I Finally Got To Do It All Myself.
But I Grew Up In A Strict Family, So I Was Not Really Allowed To, Except For Halloween, My Birthday, And Special Events. On Those Days, They Would Usually Do It For Me. Those Moments Became Everything.
When My Sisters Started Asking Me To Do Their Hair And Makeup, I Loved Returning The Favor. It Became One Of My Favorite Things, And They Still Ask Me To This Day.
College Was When I Finally Got To Do It All For Myself. I Got To Experiment, Try New Things, And Actually Have My Own Money To Buy What I Wanted. My Friends Would Come To Me Before Parties So I Could Do Their Makeup. We Tested Different Looks, Different Hairstyles. Making Them Feel Beautiful And Confident Put The Biggest Smile On My Face. That Is When I Really Started Gaining Experience.
Then I Started Working In Beauty Stores, And I Fell In Love With Helping New People. Helping People Who Already Loved Products Discover Even More. Just Bonding Over Talking About Products And All Things Beauty.
